  • Project Management Procedures, Oil Search Limited, Sydney, NSW
    GBA Projects developed its clients project management framework to enable standardised, gated project management processes to be applied to Oil Search projects. Being the largest exploration company in Papua New Guinea, Oil Search required an emphasis on investment opportunity and value improvement and through the knowledge and expertise of GBA Projects' staff, Oil Search was able to take projects to a new level.
  • Portfolio Planning, Scheduling and Controls, Santos Limited, Adelaide, SA
    From 2011 to 2015, GBA Projects was engaged to provide planning, scheduling and controls services to hundreds of projects within the Eastern Australia business unit of Santos. This portfolio encompassed projects of varying size and complexity, ranging from small brownfield projects to major concept development projects, feasibility studies and shut downs. GBA Projects was pivotal in implementing new project reporting systems, automated to improve efficiency in reporting progress and earned value performance across varying portfolios.
  • Port Bonython Shutdown, Santos Limited, Adelaide, SA
    In 1984 our Managing Director provided detailed planning, scheduling and controls services to Santos, through Global Engineering, for its first major plant shutdown at its Port Bonython plant. Since 2011, GBA Projects has provided project controls services to several major turnarounds at the Whyalla plant.
  • PNG Gas Project – Feasibility Study, KBR / Worley Parsons (EOS JV)  Brisbane, QLD
    GBA Projects assisted its client in managing the feasibility study time and costs as well as preparing the construction programme (including resources and logistics) for Gas gathering and process systems at Hides as well as Roads, Bridges, Pipelaying from Hides to Kope plus wharf facilities at Kope and Construction Camps to service the construction process.   
  • Cook Oil Pipeline, Santos Limited, Adelaide, SA
    GBA Projects provided planning, scheduling and controls services to Santos for the Cook Oil Pipeline project. A complex project, involving numerous stakeholders and complex technologies, GBA Projects oversaw the contractors responsible for the development of facilities, tie-ins and the major pipeline from South Australia's Merrimelia facility to Queensland's Cook facility. The timely completion of the project enabled Santos to reduce trucking costs and improve export efficiency.
