1991 was yet another busy year for the GBA Projects team with many more clients requiring planning and scheduling services across the Adelaide CBD. During the year, GBA Projects took on Glenn Industries, Bissland Construction, Marble & Cement and Balmoral Hill as new clients.

Around this time there was a strong push by the Adelaide City Council to redevelop Adelaide's iconic East End and such redevelopments were undertaken by our client, MetroCorp. MetroCorp was credited with bringing the East End of Adelaide "back to life" through the numerous projects undertaken to the heritage listed areas.

Adelaide's East EndGBA Projects was engaged to plan, schedule and control numerous redevelopment projects. By the mid 90's Adelaide's East End somewhat resembled a "Lygon Street" precinct.

1991 was still quite a busy year as GBA Projects continued to provide scheduling services to the Australian Submarine Corporation for various work packages including works within the Hull and Paint Shops. GBA Projects brought innovation by graphically representing the layout of the Hull shop in order to maximise the efficiency of production whilst meeting time constraints.

This Location Based planning was achieved by allocating a spatial resource to the program of works. Combined with the detailed programming, ASC were able to organise some sections of the Hull to be manufactured off site and then transported to the Osbourne site for integration with other sections of the Hull.
